BioI'm Nicky - an assistant professor of public relations and advertising of the School of Communication at the University of Nebraska, Omaha, U.S.A. Her research interests include social media, branding, and media effects. Her current research explores people's engagement with social media influencers (KOL) and electronic word-of-mouth communication.
She teaches both undergraduate and graduate students and courses including strategic writing for public relations and advertising, social media measurement, audience research, public speaking, etc. Prior to her graduate studies in the U.S., she worked for two companies in Hong Kong. She is specialized in market and competitor research, events and campaign management, branding content development.
